NMR Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger states
We describe the creation of a Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger state of the form (|000〉+ |111〉)/√2 (three maximally entangled quantum bits) using nuclear magnetic resonance. We have successfully carried out the experiment using the proton and carbon spins of trichloroethylene, and confirmed the result using state tomography. We have thus extended the space of entangled quantum states explored system...
متن کاملEntanglement distillation from Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger shares
We study the problem of converting a product of Greenberger-HorneZeilinger (GHZ) states shared by subsets of several parties in an arbitrary way into GHZ states shared by every party. Our result is that if SLOCC transformations are allowed, then the best asymptotic rate is the minimum of bipartite log-ranks of the initial state. This generalizes a result by Strassen on the asymptotic subrank of...
متن کاملEntanglement classification of relaxed Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger symmetric states
In this paper we analyze entanglement classification of relaxed Greenberger-HorneZeilinger-symmetric states ρES , which is parametrized by four real parameters x, y1, y2 and y3. The condition for separable states of ρES is analytically derived. The higher classes such as bi-separable, W, and Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger classes are roughly classified by making use of the class-specific optimal w...
متن کاملMultipartite Greenberger-horne-zeilinger Paradoxes for Continuous Variables
We show how to construct Greenberger-Horn-Zeilinger type paradoxes for continuous variable systems. We give two examples corresponding to 3 party and 5 party paradoxes. The paradoxes are revealed by carrying out position and momentum measurements. The structure of the quantum states which lead to these paradoxes is discussed.
متن کاملMultiparticle interference, Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger entanglement, and full counting statistics.
We investigate the quantum transport in a generalized N-particle Hanbury Brown-Twiss setup enclosing magnetic flux, and demonstrate that the Nth-order cumulant of current cross correlations exhibits Aharonov-Bohm oscillations, while there is no such oscillation in all the lower-order cumulants. The multiparticle interference results from the orbital Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger entanglement of N...
